Even if we didn't stay in New York during the last two days, I want to share some experiences with you:

Due to the fact, that we have family in Stockbridge (Massachusetts; USA), we decided to visit them and so we set out on Friday morning (with mom´s aunt driving us in her car) to arrive in Stockbridge before lunch. Unfortunately, our car broke down on the halfway between New York and our destination and so we had to call 911 (America's emergency number). One hour of waiting later, police and the so-called "tow truck" arrived to transfer us to the next garage, where our car should be fixed. I was actually allowed to take a ride in the police car (even without doing something criminal, not everybody is able to share that experience ;D).

Sadly, the damage wasn´t a minor one and so we had to rent a car in order to get to Stockbridge. After arriving, we ate together and fell in our beds, exhausted from the exciting day.

On Saturday we started sightseeing around Stockbridge and visited other parts of the family. The environment in Massachusetts is amazing!! In my opinion its the perfect mixture of space, privacy, and company.

We ate the traditional turkey (usually the meal at Thanksgiving) with potatoes, salad, and jam for supper and had a wonderful Saturday evening with our family.
